Our nominated charity in 2005 was Marie Curie Cancer Care. We raised the fantastic sum of £15,018. Our first Mac Ball, held in 2004, was for Macmillan Cancer Relief. The amazing sum of £10,055 was raised and indeed, encouraged us to continue in our efforts to help these most worthwhile charities. (The picture below shows the Mac Ball Commitee handing over a cheque for £10,055 to Dave Smillie of Macmillan Cancer Relief.)
